Yesterday we took the kids to the home of one of Elliott's Attorneys. He had invited us over to hang out and go fishing.
We obviously took him up on it, and look at William's cat fish! Even Uncle Scott would be proud of that fish. They had a blast filling the hooks with stink bait, minnows, worms, and Aubrey's personal favorite - sparkle powder. And then they let Daddy cast for them. He only got it caught on things 9 or 10 times.
After the kids fished for a while they went and looked at the goats, the chickens, and the trains. We even got to take home some fresh eggs.
We had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful weather and the chance to be together as a family. It's been a while since we've had such a great day.

Those family days are the best, aren't they. Greg and I need to sneak one of those in sometime soon. Maybe it should be in the form of a trip to Dallas.
