"A prophet is the Lord's representative on earth. That means that he speaks for the Lord, and tells us the things that the Lord wants us to do.
What do you think of when you hear the word 'Prophet'? Do you think of a prophet from the Old Testament wearing a long robe?
Maybe you think of a Book of Mormon prophet holding the liahona.
When I think of a prophet, I think of a man wearing a suit and tie. I think of Gordon B. Hinckley.
He has been the prophet my whole life. He taught about families, temples and kindness. He also taught me to 'stand a little taller' and 'be a little better.'
I try to obey the prophet and do the things that he has asked. I know that the new prophet will also speak for the Savior and I will listen to him and obey. If I follow him in faith, then I know that the Lord will bless me.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

William:
I read your talk. It is so good. I want to hear you say it. Call me or I will call you tonight and let you tell it to me on the phone. I'll bet you did a great job.
Hey, guess who's birthday is coming on February 13th. Do you know?
Love,
Grandma Kay
Great talk William! I also liked your threads you wore on Sunday. David wants a "sports jacket" like you.
Good job William, and good job Camille! I bet William looked really sharp in his suit!
William,
That was a fabulous talk and I'm sure all the kids loved it. I'm so proud of you for giving a talk in primary. You probably didn't even get nervous!
What a cute idea to post your child's talk. He did a great job too - so sweet!
