Last week the kids and I went to the Science Museum at Fairpark. We went with some friends and we had a great time. The kids made large bubbles, played dress up, dug for dinosaur bones and rode little tractors.
Afterwards, we went and got ice cream and cookie sandwiches at Pokey O's. The largest mishap came when William pointed to a picture of ice cream {of course it was right at his eye level} and said "I want that kind!"
As he exclaimed and pointed, he accidentally knocked the picture off the wall. The check-out girl just stared at me, and I - holding a sleeping Brooke - bent over and started picking up glass.
Then, a kid came over and told me it was OK and started cleaning it up. Apparently "It happens all the time." I think he was saying that just to make me feel better, because if it really did happen all the time, wouldn't they move the picture? Just wondering.
All in all, it was a good day.

Aubrey's hair grows so fast! She must get that from you. You guys are like weeds.

What a fun outing! I know it has only been less than 2 months since we've seen you, but your kids already look like they have grown. Miss you guys!
You should have got mad at the girl behind the counter and said that they should not put a picture that can fall on the ground with glass at a childs level. Someone could get hurt and you would hate to have to sue them for that negligence.
We just went to the same museum and the aquarium on Monday. It was a great outing. We could have spent the whole day there exploring. I like the improvements they've made too.
