Maybe it's the crisp mou-uhn air...maybe it's the thinner altitude...or more likely it's years of Sanpete lingo sneaking back into my vocabulary. But it's good to be back and it's good to see family.
So far, we have driven through parts of 6 states, gone camping & swimming with cousins & grandparents, and now we are preparing to go even higher up in the mou-uhns to stay at my parents cabin.
"Sounds like fun." you may say.
YES! Yes it is.
Here are some picts from the drive.

We had a slight mishap in Kansas. We got slightly off track...however, I did get a nice picture of this thing. Whatever it is.

I also got this picture. There were lots of these things all over Kansas. I think it was a silo, but I'm not sure. Maybe someone else knows.

The rest areas were great stops. Not only did we get a chance to use the bathroom, but the kids were able to run around for a few minutes. That helps when you've been in a car ALL day.

I figured out how to adjust the review mirror so that I could see what I was pointing the camera at - gotta love those screens on the digital cameras.
Brooke was saying "Cheese" and then she was twirling her arms for "Do As I'm Doing."

This time I tried to get a picture of all three boys in the back, but instead I just got William. I guess the rearview mirror trick isn't as good as I thought.

And finally, all of the kids dressed in the "Are We There Yet?" shirts. The big logo was on the back, but William insisted that he wear his shirt backward so that everyone could see the design. What fun!

you crack me up. i'm not sure i would have as good a sense of humor/attitude after that car-trip. amazing.
Hope you have a great time!
Hey Cami,
how long did it take you to drive?
We are hoping to be stationed in Texas next year. Fort Hood is our top choice. So I think we would be a couple of hours from you all. And a little closer my family. I can't believe how tall Aubrey is getting.
Wow, looks like you are having a fun trip. Driving with children all by yourself isn't always the easiest....i can definelty relate. you are a trooper.
Thanks for coming to see us! It was so much fun!
Looks like you had fun getting there and are having a great time now that you're there! Enjoy the nice, cooler Utah temps, especially this week...the lowest high in the next week is 103. Yuck!
I was sooo happy to see you on Monday! I love the road trip t-shirts. What fun memories.
Looks like we were in Sanpete at the same time! We just flew back to AR yesterday afternoon. Man, what I wouldn't give to be back in the good ole fresh Sanpete air! Good luck on your return trip... if it hasn't happened already.
The t-shirts are too cute. That drive is definitely not fun, but you had a great attitude and humor with it all. Hope you are having a good time in Utah.
The t-shirts are awesome! Did you make those?
Wish we could have seen you guys.
