Today was William's first day of Kindergarten. I can honestly say that it wasn't near as difficult as Aubrey's first day. I think there are a few reasons for this.
First, William doesn't have to go alone. I can't tell you what a comfort it is to know that Aubrey is there with him. I know she is half the school away and will never see him, but it helps to know that she's there.
Second, William has been going to visit Aubrey at school for the past two years. He already knows how to get to his classroom, open his locker, and order lunch. He's a pro at this and it's only his first day.
Third, I know I always say that William isn't as social as Aubrey.....well, that's true.....but let's face it, who is? Even if he doesn't have Aubrey's "run up and say hello to everyone" attitude, he's still a fun person to be around. The first thing William said to me after school was, "Mom, I made a new friend today!" The boy is already steps ahead of his mother. I think he will do just fine in the friend department.

it makes me sad bubba is already in kindergarden...and im not even his mom.
so, two kids in school ALL DAY....what WILL you do with yourself? Maybe have another baby, and hopefully it will be twins. I REALLY want someone else to have twins too.....

William, you are looking so grown up and SOOO HANDSOME!! You better watch out all those girls are going to be chasing you at recess!!!
