Growing up I noticed that one of my grandpa's favorite TV shows was the Lawrence Welk show. I never quite understood why he was so interested - but if they were all this funny I was REALLY missing out. Thanks SNL!

oh my goodness! I was dying watching this last Saturday 'cause we used to watch LW with my parents/grandparents too- There was always the one ugly sis. Bless her heart;) too funny

my parents used to watch the lawrence welk show too. i laughed hysterically as i watched this on snl. i just loved it. i tried to explain it to ian but he just couldn't get it. but of course, it was funny anyway. i loved it. thanks for posting it.
Ryan was gone home teaching last night and the girls and I watched this clip 10 times. And today Lexie asked me if you could watch it again. Thanks for the laugh.
