Soccer and A Little Friendly Competition

William loves playing soccer - in fact he's getting ready for his week long soccer camp that begins next week.

Here's a picture of one of his final games (he's the middle red guy running to the ball).

And here he is with his wonderful coach. We really lucked out with our team. The boys are all really great and their parents are fun to hang out with.

Dinner is always an adventure around here. Usually it's a competition to see who can grab the towel the fastest to clean up the daily spills. However, this time it was a competition to see who could get the most peas on their fork. Elliott began with what seemed to be a solid base and he stacked up an impressive 45 peas (I think that was the number).

But Aubrey out smarted him by taking her time and pushing tons of peas onto the fork, thus creating an earthquake proof base and stacking a grand total of 53 peas (I think - I know it was more than Elliott's).
