William was in charge of the camera for Aubrey's piano recital. This was the picture we got!
A few weeks ago, William's Preschool had their year end Program and Field Day. I was armed and ready with the digital camera and the video camera. As he stood up front, I began taping. Then, as the songs began, I noticed that William was swaying perfectly to the music. The only problem was that his perfect swaying matched exactly with the boy he had hid behind. Every once in a while, I would catch a glimpse of William staring straight at me with his mouth glued shut. Not only was he hiding, but he wasn't even singing! Don't believe me? I have video I will put up soon.
The only time he sang was on the last song, "Take me out to the Ball Game." He even did the hand actions. That was a BIG improvement for him.
After it was over, I asked William why he didn't sing. He said, "I only sing on the one's I like."
Me, "Well, how many songs did you like?"
"Two. The planet one and the Ball Game one."
"I don't remember the planet one. Which one was it?"
"We didn't sing it. But I like it."

After the program they had Field Day. As they were playing games, William fell on a plastic sprinkler cover and bruised and skinned his knee. He wanted to go home, so we took off early.
At least we got a picture of him with his teachers.
William's room has always been a hodgepodge of left over decor. Anything we don't have a place for, we put in William's room. I have been feeling bad about this lately, so I decided to try and start decorating William's room.
Since he already has a Lightning McQueen Bedspread {thanks Grandma} we decided to go with a racing theme.
He got some new racing curtains to replace the old standard, white, blend into the wall ones.
And please don't comment on the extra large curtain rod. Like I said, it's a hodgepodge room.

William has always been a great kid. He has a vivid imagination and he loves to play with his sisters. He is also a great big brother to Brooke. She always follows him around yelling, "Bubba, Bubba." Then, they chase each other around and he falls to the ground and lets her tickle him. William has also created many different "Controls" He has "Batman Control", "Cars Control", "Ben 10 Control" and "Transformers Control". That's basically William's way of saying "Imaginary Play".
Last week he asked me to please call him "Bumble Bee" all week long. And then he said that he would call me "Ratchet".
So, here's to you Bumble Bee.
We love you!

William cracks me up! I like the new curtains too.
Cute valance! Daniel has a ton of Disney Cars stuff in his room too. William's report on the preschool program sounded familiar. Aren't these little guys a crack up? William is so funny.
We are so proud of you too Bumble Bee. We wish we could see you guys more often. When you get a little older and if you still live in Texas I will come down and we will go shoot some big Whitetails together.
Cute curtains! The boys always have the leftovers at our house too, because they just don't care. Someday I will do right by them in the decorating dept.
I am trying to talk Camille into putting my drum set in his room - DECORATING DONE!
Sweet William. I love how dear he is to his little sister! I remember having him for a little while in nursery and he was just the sweetest thing. And since I didn't have any boys of my own, i would always try to do things to make him laugh and like me more. I think it worked, because he did laugh at me ALOT! Until we moved and now he doesn't remember me at all. =( We love William!
