Wow! Am I really old enough to have a 2nd grader?Aubrey was very excited to head back to school today. We spent 30 minutes up in her room last night trying to pick the perfect outfit. She is such a girl!
We were running slightly late this morning...so instead of getting to the school 15 minute early (like I'd hoped) we got there 7 minutes early. Then we spent the next 10 minutes waiting in line just to park.
By the time we got into the school, I was rushing to get William to class (they let parents take them the 1st day). As I was rushing down the hall I said to Aubrey, "Run to class! Oh...I love you." That last part was said as she was receding into the distance.
I was a little worried that she would get lost, so after I took William to class I went to check on her. Of course, she was just fine - come on, it is Aubrey after all.
Tonight at dinner, Aubrey told us that she was thinking about William today as she was at recess. She said, "I was worried that he didn't eat all of his food at lunch and maybe he was hungry."
Aubrey is always thinking about other people and is always concerned for them. She is a wonderful and loving older sister and a great example to William and Brooke.

Aubrey is so beautiful. And that is such a cute story about her worrying about William! We are starting our first day of school tomorrow and I'm nervous. I always look at your blog, but I forget to comment, so I am going to get better I promise! I love you!!!
