I have decided to post more pictures from out trip to Utah. I know that it was over a month ago, but I really loved the pictures (I took almost 400 from that trip) so I would like to post them. This Post will be LONG
So, here goes!
While in Utah (after the first family reunion and going to the cabin) we went to the Kloepfer Family Reunion in Logan. While there, we visited the Logan City Zoo and we stayed with Uncle Scotty and Aunt Steph - Thanks guys for letting us crash at your place for a few days.
While we were there, I wanted to show the kids where Elliott and I lived while we went to school. We drove to Aggie Village and I showed them our "Nice" apartment. Then we walked around the corner and I showed them our "Not-So-Nice" apartment that we had lived in when we first moved to Logan. This was their response:"Can we play on the playground?"
I will give anyone in my family $5 if they can tell me where this windmill is located.
And if the money gets lost in the mail, it's not my fault.
We played with cousins a lot! And we even got to see a hot air balloon fly right by Grandma Kay's house. It was so close we could see the people inside.
Grandma Kay decided that we all needed to take a trip to the zoo. Of course no one objected. In addition to all of Elliott's family, my sister Tausha was able to come. We went to the bird show and sat on the front row. At one point, the man conducting the show was asking the audience questions. As he asked the question, someone behind him would hold up a sign with the answer. After a few questions, he came over to our side.
He asked, "What is the State Bird of New Mexico?"
Everyone's hands shot in the air and he picked on William. Then he held the microphone down right in front of William and William responded, "I can't read!"
The audience started to laugh and Aubrey quickly ran over and told him the answer...so his next response was, "ROADRUNNER!"
William was also very excited to see the gorillas. That's all he could talk about all day long. Then, when we got to their cage....they were asleep. He was pretty upset.
On our final trip to Manti, we were able to celebrate my dad's birthday. He turned 30! I think he's been turning 30 for around 25 years now.
For Family Home Evening we held our own OLYMPIC GAMES. Everyone had to ride their bikes, jump on the mini-trampoline, run across the grass, and do many other activities that would make them nice and tired so they would sleep well that night.
As we were driving home to Texas, Aubrey got sick and threw up. Unfortunately for Emily, it was in her car. However, it was in a bag, so we stoped at the next exit to throw the bag away. Of course the only thing at that exit was a Budweiser plant - luckily they had garbage can out front. This was a must have picture.
At this point we were just glad to be home!

That was a great post! I'm glad you posted all of the pictures, it's fun to see everyone!!
As for the windmill, I'm guessing it is in your great grandparents yard there in Logan... :) We drove by that house a couple times when we lived there.
I think my favorite thing has got to be the Olympic FHE. I'm totally doing that for and FHE. We love you guys and I love all of your posts!
