Dog Days of Summer

This is what we've been up to the last few weeks:

The kids had some fun with fruit roll-ups...the tongue tattoo kind. Even Brooke wanted to get in on the action.

Two of Elliott's former Priests (now he's with the Deacons) received their Eagle Scout Awards. As the Scoutmaster he was able to present their awards. Plus, there is now a new Mentor Pin (in addition to the Mother's Pin) that the boys get to award to someone that they feel has been a Mentor to them. Both boys decided to give Elliott their Mentor Pin. It was a great evening.

Brooke loves her fruit.

We went bowling with the Lunds. It was fun to watch all of the kids (even the babies) try to practice their swings. I could hear my College Bowling teacher in the back of my mind...."Out, Down, Back, SWING!"

huh, you must have had "Bowling with Bob" too. I still can't go bowling without hearing him say "Out, Down, Back, Swing... hit the head pin!" Gotta love it.

You have such a cute family. Next time you are in Utah it would be fun to get together and say hi. I see Ken every once and awhile and I really enjoy it. I look forward to checking out your pictures often.

OK observation: William and Brooke have the same tounge pointed on the tip, but Aubrey's is totally different, hers is rounded on the bottom. Which tounge shape came from Mom and which tounge shape came from Dad?

I never knew there was such great technique in bowling. I'll have to remember that.

Looks like you've had some fun in your family lately!
